The training in “Geo-scientific Information Systems, Databases” is a 10-day training session of the PanAfGeo-2 program (DEVELOPING A UNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAM) which will take place in São Tomé, São Tomé and Príncipe, from 7 to 18 November 2022. Organized jointly by the Geological Survey of France (BRGM), the General Directorate of Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Natural Resources of Sao Tome and Principe (DGRNE) and the National Energy and Geology Laboratory (LNEG), Portugal).
17 professionals from the area of Geosciences from 5 Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP) will participate in this training, namely Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Sao Tome and Principe. Candidates selected for this training represent different organizational units of these surveys and have diverse backgrounds, such as geologists, information technology specialists, cartographers, etc.
