Opening workshop for the implementation of the National Energy Sector Training Plan for the planning and management of the energy transition

Today, Tuesday, January 25 at 8:30 am, in the auditorium of the Public University of São Tomé e Príncipe, 
workshop on the implementation of the National Training Plan for the Energy Sector for the 
planning and management of the energy transition took place, which was attended by technicians
 from different national institutions.This action is part of the activities of the Project
 “Promotion of hydroelectric energy in a sustainable and climate-resilient manner through an approach 
that integrates land and forest management in São Tomé and Príncipe” called “Projecto Energia”, 
financed by the GEF through the UNDP, and Implemented by the Directorate General for Natural Resources 
and Energy

The complete period of this training activity is four (4) months, 
with a forecast for completion of Lot IV intended for 
direct institutions in the energy sector in April of the current year
